Galina Borissova
"Anti-GONE - it’s me" is a joint work of the dancer and choreographer Galina Borisova and the Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Bucharest Gina Sherbanescu. Together they explore the ancient model of Antigone – the woman who stands up to authority in the name of family and her personal inviolable values. The performance examines the main antagonism of ancient Greek tragedy, namely the personal versus the political, through its own point of view.
Galina Borisova examines the antique model Antigona - the woman who stands up to power for the sake of her family and her inviolable values. Fragments of life and death are assembled by a human body, a dead bird and a rope.
