AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CITY OF ROME

For the first time, a performance by the Italian choreographer and playwright Claudia Castellucci, winner of the Silver Lion for Dance from the Venice Biennale in 2020, sister of Romeo Castellucci and co-author with Chiara and Paolo Guidi of the famous theater company will be presented on the Bulgarian stage. IN THE BEGINNING OF THE CITY OF ROME is a dance that tells how in the ancient Roman Empire - the beginning of mass society as we know it today - man begins to lose the concept of measure. The title of the performance takes us back to the dawn of the most extensive European civilization when the need arose to regulate our relations with things whose quantity grew unimaginably.
