A solo performance without speech that reveals the absurdities of modern office life.
A day in the life of an overworked and disillusioned man, trapped in his office and daily routine.
He juggles his job, performing repetitive and increasingly absurd tasks while battling boredom and stress. Torn between the desire to leave and the fear of leaving his previous life behind, he looks for ways to enjoy his work and tests the limits of the little freedom he has left.
Through his obsessions, rituals, failures, disappointments and small moments of happiness, NINE TO FIVE explores the absurdity of meaningless work and takes a satirical look at modern work culture, conformity and burnout.
NINE TO FIVE is a satirical look at modern work culture and the constant pressure to be more productive and efficient. The show explores a reality in which work often becomes part of our identity, and the need for financial security can keep us stuck in a professional routine that brings neither meaning nor satisfaction.
