Dedicated to 18 years since the murder of Anna Politkovskaya.
This story could have started a thousand ways. For example with one name. Vladislav Surkov. This gentleman works in the presidential administration. The Kremlin has full confidence in him. They listen to him. In 2005, in an internal circular, Surkov wrote verbatim:
"The enemies of the state fall into two categories: those we can reason with, and those we are unable to re-educate. With the latter it is not possible to have a dialogue and this makes them irreparable.
The state must take action and remove the irreparable from its territory."
