Anyone with a phone and internet access can claim this title by broadcasting uncensored content to a potentially global audience. Free speech is the foundation of a democratic society, but we must not ignore the dangers that arise from this phenomenon. Most influencers are marginal, though authentic, social figures who try to monetize their popularity.
