INTO THE CRACKS is exploring the discourse on Human Rights, its capacities and powers, and its cracks. While walking a distance of 2500km, they encounter the topic in a variety of situations, contexts, and constellations. 
In Sofia, they will meet another art project that found an extraordinary way to create visible and sustainable traces of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: HUMAN RIGHTS TATTOO is tattooing the complete document, letter by letter, onto the skins of 6,773 human beings. 
Together they will organise an event in Sofia with the support of the local ACT Association. 
Another 40 letters will be tattooed onto the skins of people in Bulgaria’s capital, along with a very concentrated, intimate version of a talk in one-on-one situations. 
After having the letters written on their skin, each participant gets to meet another participant and discuss one of the Human Rights Articles as drawn by lot. A short collection of questions will provide an impulse for the conversations.
