SSUN BOSHI RETURNS IN SEPTEMBER!
Issun Boshi is so small – as tiny as a rice grain! But despite that, he is clever and brave. He can read and write, and he is also studying to become a samurai. Using a bowl, a needle, and a charming fish Koi, the Sun Boy reaches the big city of Kyoto! There, he manages to find a job, meets the beautiful girl Hanako, and faces the terrible monster Oni. Exciting and magical, the story teaches us that: “The whole world is arranged this way! I help you – tomorrow you'll help me!”
--------------------------------------------
The show is a Bulgarian-Japanese collaboration, with great attention to detail and Japanese culture. Spectators can enjoy handcrafted “Takeda” puppets, giant marionettes, shadow theater, original music, and poetry. We look forward to seeing you on September 29th at 7:30 PM at Toplocentrala" - Hall 1!
