The Last Untamed Place on Earth I PREMIERE

What happens when a forgotten village finds itself right in the path of a new highway?
And what if its residents decide to declare independence and create their own country?

"The Last Untamed Place on Earth" is an absurd comedy with documentary elements, inspired by real stories and interviews related to the construction of the Struma Highway and the reactions of the residents of Kresna and the surrounding villages. The performance shines a spotlight on themes that sound increasingly familiar:

– Is there a place for small communities in big plans?
– What is the price of “progress”?
– What do we lose on the path to modernization?
– What happens to traditions, identity, and human connections when villages begin to disappear?
– And if everyone leaves… who stays behind?

With a sense of humor, absurdity, and social sensitivity, the performance turns the audience into active participants. Here, the viewer is not just an observer—they make decisions, influence the course of the action, and become part of the village’s fate.
