Teeth Show

Using teeth as a metaphor for roots and belonging, *Teeth Show* invites the audience on a poetic, medical, and personal journey through surreal stories, video, and original sound. Natasha Davis’s multimedia performance is rooted in the autobiographical fact that each of her relocations has been accompanied by an unusual story involving teeth—from Serbia through the Syrian desert to London at night. The performance explores the democratic rights of the body in exile, the constant crossing of borders, and the question of who has access to healthcare, a beautiful smile, and a pain-free life in today’s world.
