This is my truth, tell me yours

Playwright Jasna Žmak’s original project straddles the line between stand-up comedy and a lecture-performance. Inspired by a real incident in 2011, when Zhmak developed tinnitus (ringing in the ears) after being hit by a prop gun during a performance, the project explores the ways in which art shapes our reality. Zhmak takes the stage for the first time as a performer to connect seemingly incompatible themes—ringing in the ears, patriarchy, artistic responsibility, and her personal sexual and dramaturgical experiences—raising the question of the meaning of artistic production in the era of unbridled capitalism.
