The Body as Dramaturgy

A practical workshop with Rita Gobi from Hungary for professional actors.

Can movement transform dramaturgy, reshape the text, and reveal new possibilities for theatrical expression? What happens to a theatrical genre when the body becomes the primary vehicle of meaning?
Through work with movement, gesture, rhythm, space, and physical presence, participants will explore how the body can create its own dramaturgy and expand the boundaries of the genre and theatrical expression.
The workshop invites actors to discover new possibilities on stage by viewing the body as a source of action, image, and meaning.
