TRAVEL

"Travel" is a fashion performance by students from the Fashion Design Department at the National Academy of Art, taking place on 23 June 2026 at 18:00. On 24 June, visitors will be able to explore the installation and the garments created for the project, presented as an exhibition environment in their own right.

The performance approaches travel not only as geographical movement, but also as a gradual shedding of noise, roles, and expectations in order to reach an authentic sense of self. Here, fashion is not a display of clothing, but a transformation of state.

Through this artistic performance, students from the Fashion Design Department present their creative explorations as designers and artists working within one of the most dynamic and multifaceted fields of contemporary art — fashion. In the project, the garment functions as a form of personal inquiry, connected to taste, identity, and the search for a relationship with oneself.

The silhouettes transform and evolve into narrative structures composed of carefully selected personal objects, constructive forms, and functional elements.
